Our Story
Founded by Shawn & Justin Sternberg
Metal America® is a family-owned business founded by brothers Shawn Sternberg (CEO) and Justin Sternberg (COO). When the pandemic created a shortage of high-quality metal panels, the Sternbergs saw an opportunity to create a reliable local source for contractors and property owners.
With 25 years of hands-on experience in metal roofing and siding installation, we bring practical, real-world insight to every design and manufacturing decision. Our goal: produce durable, visually appealing panels that are easy to install—while meeting the highest quality standards.

On-Site Manufacturing — We roll steel at our Post Falls facility, eliminating transportation between processors, warehouses, and distributors. This reduces carbon emissions and costs—savings we pass on to you.
40+ Year Lifespan — Our steel panels last 3x longer than traditional roofing materials, reducing the need for replacement and waste.
100% Recyclable — Made primarily from recycled ferrous scrap. At end of life, our panels are fully recyclable—unlike asphalt or fiberglass.
